Kate started doing yoga during her senior year of college when it became clear that adult life would be stressful. Now, over a decade later, she has come to understand how the benefits of the practice extend far beyond physical and mental well-being. Kate seeks to help her students find joy in their yoga practices, encouraging a sense of play while maintaining a mindful approach to breath and movement.
Kate is forever grateful for the gifts yoga and her community have given her. Outside of the yoga studio, Kate is a touring musician with the band Start Making Sense, and teaches private voice lessons with RPAC. She hopes that her innate creativity enhances each class that she leads.
Kate completed her 300-hour yoga teacher training in 2015 at Easton Yoga, her Aerial Yoga training at Boundless Yoga, and her SUP Yoga training with Miss Melanie Yoga in 2018. She believes that life is an adventure in learning and every moment is an opportunity for discovery. She invites you to come discover something new in your practice with her!
